WWE Wrestlemania 35 Results – All the winners and losers.

This year’s wrestlemania was extremely good. Wins and losses are the part of all sports but this year we saw a little glimpse of the best eras of the past.

So, here it goes ……

Tony Nese defeated Buddy Murphy to win the Cruiserweight Championship:

The kick-off show for Wrestlemania had Tony Nese outlasting Buddy Murphy’s offense. Eventually grabbing the gold running, Nese, earned himself a three-count and a well-deserved climb to the top of the Cruiserweight card.

Carmella won the Second Annual WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal:

The WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal kicked off with pure pandemonium. Bodies went flying everywhere, top-level talent such as Asuka found themselves outside the ring and Carmella was the last woman standing after she managed to throw Sarah Logan out of the ring.

Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins defeat The Revival for the Raw Tag Team Championship

The burial of The Revival continued, as Curt Hawkins of all people managed to catch Scott Dawson in a miracle roll-up pin, earning a big win in the process and some tag team gold.

Braun Strowman won the sixth annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Surprise! The gift of destruction managed to eliminate most of the competition in Wrestlemania’s annual battle royal with cheese, as well as two SNL comedians in one bizarre story angle. At least this terrible storyline is finally over. (They really have nobody else who can win (-_-)

Seth Rollins def. Brock Lesnar (New Universal Champion)

The King slayer finally emerged triumphant. Seth Rollins had to bring everything he could possibly muster and then some to Brock Lesnar. Fighting clean and dirty in a desperate attempt to grab the gold by any means necessary, Rollins landed not one, not two but three stomps that finally buried the Beast and saw the Architect crowned as the top dog in the WWE pecking order.

AJ Styles defeated Randy Orton

Don’t know how to put this match…. It was good.

The Usos defeated Aleister Black & Ricochet, The Bar and Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev

The Usos are still in the tag team championship game, as a pair of superkicks to Sheamus saw the infamous bruisers walk away with the gold.

Shane McMahon defeated The Miz (Falls Count Anywhere Match)

This match was AWESOOOMMMEEEE. I wished that Miz could have won the match but Shane won BEARLY.

The IIconics defeated Bayley and Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Tamina and Natalya and Beth Phoenix to win WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Good for them. An iconic victory for the duo, as Billie Kay managed to eliminate Beth Phoenix from the ring and steal a pin on Bayley.

United States Champion Samoa Joe defeated Rey Mysterio

Match was short and lasted like 4 to 5 mins when Samoa Joe caught him in the dreaded Coquina Clutch.

Roman Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre

The Scottish psychopath had plenty of offense, but in the end this fight ended in a very familiar way: A Spear to the guts of McIntyre, who pushed Reigns perhaps too far and found himself on his back as the ref counted to three. The big dog is back to get back his YAARRD.

Triple H defeated Batista (No Holds Barred Match)

In a match that was brutal to the extreme, The King of Kings proved that he still had plenty of ruthless aggression within him as he took on the animal. Using an entire toolbox worth of weapons on each other, the savage encounter between the former allies ended when Batista found himself distracted by the presence of Ric Flair, leading to a decisive Pedigree that put the animal down for good.

Baron Corbin defeated Kurt Angle

The dream is over. After a farewell tour that saw plenty of victories along the way, Kurt Angle’s road to Wrestlemania ended with defeat. Facing the man who had usurped him as RAW’s general manager in 2018, Angle left nothing to chance and fought without regrets. But when he attempted to go airborne and launch a Moonsault that would have been the perfect way for him to end his career?

Corbin struck decisively with the End of Days, ending the legend of the WWE’s Olympic gold medal hero. Oh it’s true, it’s damn true.

Kofi Kingston def. Daniel Bryan (New WWE Champion)

After years of work in the WWE, the New Day’s Kofi Kingston has finally grabbed the brass ring! Facing some stiff competition, Kingston eventually managed to find the mark and drop Bryan long enough to reclaim the hemp strap, which will hopefully  be restored to its former gold glory now that it has a new owner. IM HAPPPY FOR HIM <3

Finn Balor defeated Bobby Lashley (New WWE Intercontinental Champion)

Bobby Lashley may have been prepared to face Finn Balor anywhere and anytime, but going one on one with the Irishman’s inner demon? That proved too much for so-called All Mighty, as the Intercontinental championship is back in Balor’s possession.

Becky Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair (New WWE Smackdown LIVE Woman’s Champion and RAW Woman’s Champion)

Triple threat. Winner takes all. The chance to be the first undisputed woman’s champion in WWE history. Between Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair, everything was on the line and this was a match where there was no place for regrets. Throwing everything they had in their tanks and reaching deep to find even more fuel, all three ladies entered as challengers.

There could be only one champion at the end of Wrestlemania 35, and that legend in the making wasn’t a lady. It as The Man. The WWE has a new alpha and omega, as Lynch managed to pin Rousey before she could land Piper’s Pit.
