Here is why ‘Arrest Sunny Leone’ is trending on Twitter!
Sunny Leone, a former pornographic actress turned Bollywood star caught herself in a new controversy after her latest song ‘Madhuban Mein Radhika’was released on YouTube was hit by criticism from Hindu extremists in India.
Following the music video’s release Mathura priest demanded a ban on the song, and later the Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra warned actor Sunny Leone and singers Shaarib and Toshi to apologize and withdraw their music video within three days.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister also said that else they will have to face action and an FIR will be registered against them as the song has hurt the sentiments of the people.

The song had sparked a new controversy in India as well as a social media is abuzz with views on the matter.

On the other hand, following the backlash, SaReGaMa had issued an official statement regarding the controversy.
The music company stated that they will be changing the lyrics and replacing the song in the coming days.
The statement read as, “In light of recent feedback and respecting the sentiments of our fellow countrymen, we will be changing the lyrics and name of the song ‘madhuban…’. The new song will replace the old across all platforms over the next three days”.
