Bollywood Star Aamir Khan Contracts COVID-19

Aamir Khan is the latest Bollywood celebrity to contract COVID-19, it emerges on Wednesday.

As being reported the Dangal star is now in isolation at his home in Mumbai after testing positive for coronavirus.

The actor’s representative issued a statement to reveal Aamir Khan’s health update.

The statement read: “Mr. Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine.”

“All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern,” the statement added.

He will now resume shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha after he completely recovers from coronavirus.

As being reported, Aamir Khan was shooting an ad with Kiara Advani was shooting for an ad, when the Aamir tested positive for Covid-19.

However, reports confirmed earlier in the day that Kiara had tested negative for the virus, along with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 director Anees Bazmee.

They reportedly got themselves tested especially after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 lead actor Kartik Aaryan tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

It was almost a week ago when Aamir, who is prepping for Laal Singh Chaddha, had quit social media and also revealed the reason to his fans about this decision.

56-years star also shared an official statement on his social media accounts before calling it quits.

The Dangal actor stated, “Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday. My heart is full. In other news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway, I have decided to drop the pretense. We will continue to communicate as we did before.”
