Karan Johar has finally addressed the intense criticism surrounding his latest production, ‘Nadaaniyan’, which stars newcomers Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor.
The film, released on Netflix on March 7, faced severe backlash for its performances, storyline, and handling, quickly becoming a subject of memes and heated discussions online.
At a recent event in Mumbai, Johar responded to the criticism by quoting a famous line from the classic Bollywood song “Kuchh To Log Kahenge,” emphasizing that people will always have something to say, and it’s their job to do so.
He urged critics to focus on constructive feedback rather than personal attacks.

Johar expressed concern over the harsh language used by some critics, stating that such words can be as violent as physical actions.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining compassion and sensitivity, especially towards young actors who are just beginning their careers.
Meanwhile, other Bollywood figures, including Sonu Sood, Hansal Mehta, and Vikram Bhatt, have also voiced their support for the young actors, advocating for a more sensitive approach to criticism.
