Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora have tested positive for COVID-19.
The development emerges on Monday as Mumbai’s Brahanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) asked the people who came in contact with the two Bollywood stars to take the RTPCR test.
An official statement from BMC read, “Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan & Amrita Arora tested positive for #COVID19. Both of them had violated COVID norms & attended several parties. BMC has ordered people, who came in contact with the two actors, to undergo an RT-PCR test.” Both the actors are yet to comment on their diagnoses.
Kareena and Amrita, who are close friends were spotted recently hanging out in Mumbai, reportedly without any COVID protocols.
As per the media reports, Kareena and Amrita were recently spotted partying at film producer Rhea Kapoor’s house in Mumbai.
Film producer Rhea Kapoor hosted a Christmas party for her close friends at her Mumbai home.
Both the actors posed for the paparazzi and also rang in their Christmas celebrations a little early.
A number of B-town celebrities who joined them included Malaika Arora, Poonam Damania, and Masaba Gupta.
