Bollywood Actor Paresh Rawal Tests Positive For COVID-19 Weeks After First Vaccine Shot

Bollywood actor turned actor-politician Paresh Rawal is the latest celebrity in India to have tested for positive for COVID-19.
As being reported, the 65-year-old actor contracted the virus weeks after getting the first dose of the Covid vaccine.
The Hera Pheri actor shared the update regarding his health on social media on Friday night.
“Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested,” he said.

It was on March 9 when Paresh Rawal got vaccinated with the first dose of COVID-19 shot.
The actor had shared a photo in a tweet featuring him at the medical facility.

As per the reports, India in the past 24 hours has recorded 62,258 new coronavirus cases, the biggest single-day jump since mid-October.
It was earlier this week, actor-model Milind Soman revealed that he contracted coronavirus.

A number of Indian actors have recently contracted COVID-19 during the ongoing pandemic including R Madhavan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Rohit Saraf, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey.
On the other hand, the COVID-19 vaccination drive is also underway and actor above 50 years of age have received their respective doses.
As being reported, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Dharmendra, Nagarjuna, Neena Gupta have already received their first dose of the vaccine.
