Shekhar Kapur confirms directing 1983 iconic Masoom’s sequel

Shekhar Kapur has confirmed directing the 1983 iconic Masoom’s sequel!

This film will be a sequel to the 1983 blockbuster film, Masoom, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi.

The sequel is titled “Masoom… The New Generation.”

The original film also Shekhar Kapur’s directorial debut, was based on the adaptation of the 1980 novel Man, Woman and Child by Erich Segal, which was also adapted into a Malayalam movie, Olangal, and an American movie, Man, Woman and Child.

During an interaction with a news portal, Kapur said, “I am directing a sequel to Masoom. But the details later. Let’s chat about it later on.”
