Pakistani Pushto singer, Reshma reportedly murdered by husband

Pakistani singer-actor Reshma was shot dead, supposedly by her husband, in the Nowshera Kalan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Reshma was known for her Pashto songs and her role in a drama called Zhobal Goluna.

According to reports, the suspect who had three wives before Reshma stormed into the house she shared with her brother.

After a heated argument, he pulled out a gun, killed her and managed to escape the scene of the crime.

The police have registered a case of murder and have begun an investigation into the matte. This is the 15th case of violence against female artists in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
