Actress Nargis Allegedly Assaulted by Husband, Police Await Formal Complaint

Actress Nargis was allegedly tortured by her husband, it emerged on Friday.

Nargis, known in the entertainment world as Ghazala Idris, has reportedly been assaulted by her husband, Inspector Majid Bashir, during a dispute over financial issues in Lahore’s Defence area. Despite the incident, she has not yet filed a formal complaint with the police.

Her brother Khurram, who alerted authorities by calling emergency services, alleges that Inspector Bashir subjects Nargis to routine abuse.

Meanwhile, the Police officials have confirmed their readiness to take action if a formal complaint is lodged, adding that neither Nargis nor her family has yet requested legal intervention.

The actress stepped away from her entertainment career to run a beauty salon and has been married to Inspector Bashir for several years.

Reports indicate that she was severely beaten during this latest altercation.

Nirgis’s brother Khurram has called for action against Bashir, highlighting ongoing concerns about his sister’s safety and well-being due to alleged continuous mistreatment.
