Affan Waheed got me my first break in television: Yumna Zaidi
Who doesn’t know the gorgeous and the multi-talented actress Yumna Zaidi? From playing a vulnerable girl next door to the brave sexual assault victim and now a strong woman asserting her decisions, Yumna Zaidi has a variety of characters to her credit. But did you know, it was actor Affan Waheed who got Yumna her first television break?
Sharing the news with her fans during a talk show on a private channel, Yumna Zaidi added that Affan Waheed was a very dear friend of hers and her sister and it was because of him that she had gotten her first break on television. “Affan is a wonderful, wonderful human being and a great friend. He not only got me my first drama but he used to give me pick and drop from the sets as well,” said Yumna.
Affan and Yumna have worked together in Guzarish that aired on ARY Digital in 2015.
Talking about her recent costars Yumna was all praises for Sami Khan and Imran Ashraf, both of which she’s costarring current in Inkaar on Hum TV. “Imran buzzes with energy on the sets. He carries so many characters within himself that you never know who you’ll be meeting next.”
Yumna also added that she was a fan of Noman Ijaz, Sania Saeed and Saba Qamar’s acting.
