In a recent development in the Ali Zafar Meesha Shafi case, the Channo famed singer has submitting latest evidence to prove his innocence.
As demanded by the court, Ali submitted affidavits from seven witnesses who denied the allegations leveled by Meesha Shafi against the singer. All the said witnesses were present at the jamming session, where the alleged harassment took place in Devember 2017.
After a hue and cry on television last month, both Ali and Meesha are now fighting legal battle in the famous controversy of Pakistan’s first #metoo case. The court has now ordered Meesha’s counsel to crosscheck the witness’ accounts on May 29, 2019.
