Amber Heard recently visited a mosque in Istanbul and once again drew the ire of netizens over how she was ‘inappropriately’ dressed up for the place. The bashing led Amber to delete her post initially on Instagram and then repost it.
“Spent the day wandering around the magic of Istanbul’s mosques and couldn’t be more in love with this gorgeous city..” Amber caption the second post in which she shared her picture from outside of the mosque.
“Amber Heard has no respect for religion or race as we’ve seen many times. Posted while touring a Mosque. Using a Hijab as a fashion accessory. Hair & neck showing,” wrote a Twitter user.
“When you visit a religious building it is important to be conservative when interpreting their culture and customs. You weren’t wearing the scarf correctly covering your hair,” said another.
“Amber heard is such a fake. She’s trying too hard,” was another cold tweet.
In response to the tweets and criticism thrown at her via an article, Amber snapped back. She called the criticism ‘paid write up’.
“Nope. Apparently whoever paid 4 this to b “written” wasn’t paid enough. Ill make it easy(ier): Mosques are real places. So are museums & churches. So are head scarfs (where they are sometimes required n order 2 visit). Mystery solved,” tweeted the Aquaman actress in response.
