Anwar Maqsood is our latest instagram sensation, appearing in live sessions along Bilal Maqsood

Legendary writer Anwar Maqsood is our latest Instagram sensation as he is frequently appearing in Bilal Maqsood’s live Insta-sessions.

This father-son duo has brought back the feel of good old days when studio talk shows used to be Anwar Sahab’s specialty.

During this lockdown, where we find tons of insta-live sessions almost daily, we should be grateful to Bilal Maqsood for giving us a chance to meet Anwar Maqsood who ruled the Pakistani entertainment field with his magnificent writings for more than 30 years.

This insta-live session seems to be a weekly feature now at Bial Maqsood’s profile.

For one’s amazement, there is all sort of talk, recalling memories, a glimpse at Anwar Maqsood’s lifetime, work experiences as well as replies to fan’s questions. And discussions on politics, cricket, whatnot, and most importantly that include typical Anwar Maqsood’s pun intended conversation.

Like in the recent live-session Bilal Maqsood asks his father about his previous jobs, how was Karachi’s night club culture during the early 60s, and talk is uncomplete without late Moin Akthar’s memories.

And guess what Anwar Sahab for the first time also sang that to live on Bilal Maqsood’s request, something once in a blue moon for Pakistani audience.

The in-depth conversations are true words of wisdom for the younger generation, who happen to be engaged more frequently on social media platforms.
