Armeena Khan visits Jordan to distribute donations and aid to Syrian refugees
Actress turned humanitarian Armeena Khan is visiting Jordan, to help war torn Syrian refugees. It was earlier when the Janaan star announced that she will be joining hands with the Human Relief Foundation to collect donations for Syrian refugees. She shared the details for collecting donations on her social media.
And after having collected funds and donations, the celebrity star has been busy lately in Jordon in distributing the aid to the Syrian refuges. Armeena made the announcement about her current activity on social media.
“So I’m finally here and distributing food packs to the neediest with the lovely ladies at Human Relief Foundation, It’s such an amazing feeling and I feel so happy! Thanks to you, I was able to do this. This is all because of your generous donations. Please keep donating so we can do more”, Armeena Khan wrote in a heartfelt message captioning a video post on her Instagram.

In order to distribute zakat donations, Armeena along with the foundation volunteers is also visiting several homes of the refugees. She explained in another Instagram post, “house visits are conducted to improve our own understanding of the conflict. Hearing real life accounts from the refugees. Distributing zakat”.

The house visits revealed the ordeal which was faced by the refuges in the war struck region. What they tell is hard to imagine. After listening to a story of a family Armeena shared, “People had to eat dead cats and leaves. Ahmed from Aleppo tells us during a house visit. this hit me hard”.

Armeena Khan also revealed that this inspiration for charity work came from her mother, as she shared on the Instagram, stating, “I wanted to share something with you guys. My mother told me a long time ago that whatever you do in life, always maintain your humanity and don’t forget that God does not like arrogance, such were the lessons taught to me when I was little”.

She further wrote, “I started this Syrian journey with my mom’s prayers. It is her dream that I am living right now and her wish that I am fulfilling. It is such a sweet thing and I wanted to share her messages. My heart swells when I read these. This is why I think mothers are so sacred and a lot of these Syrian kids have lost theirs. This is where you come in, you guys are amazing human beings, you’ve helped me put a smile on these children’s faces even if it is for a bit”.
Later in the same post Armeena thanked people for their generosity. Because of which they were able to help people in need. “I am amazed at the love, support and the donations pouring in, I am grateful FROM the heart 🙏🏻 Thank you so much. I begin day two with my mother in my thoughts”.
It was earlier, when Armeena Khan shared on social media that by joining in hands with the Human Relief Foundation she will be delivering donations and aid to Syrian refugees in Jordan.
