Veteran Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger who recently played his part to spread awareness on hygiene and precautions for Coronavirus has now taken his contribution a step ahead. The 72-year old actor has donated $1 million to ‘GoFundMe’ cause Frontline Responders Fund to help combat the pandemic.
“I never believed in sitting on the couch and complaining about how bad things are, I always believed we should all do our part to make things better. This is a simple way to protect our real action heroes on the frontlines in our hospitals, and I’m proud to be part of it,” said Schwarzenegger on his Instagram.
“I donated 1 million dollars, and I hope that all of you who can step up to support these heroes,” the former governor of California appealed his fans to also take part.
Frontline Responders Fund is a campaign that is working to provide protective gear such as surgical masks, surgical gowns, gloves and other essentials to doctors, paramedics and other people working in the health services.
