Bakhtawar Bhutto has tested positive for COVID-19, revealed in a social media post on Wednesday.
According to her tweet, she tested positive on April 2 and is in isolation now.
“I tested positive for Covid19 on April 2nd – isolating and recovering. Just a reminder to keep being cautious, call people out if their masks don’t cover their nose, get vaccinated & help those less fortunate to get vaccinated too. May Allah keep us all safe. Aameen,” Bakhtawar shared in a tweet.
As soon as she shared health updates, Bakhtawar’s Twitter timeline was flooded with get-well-soon messages, wishes, and prayers.
However, she hasn’t revealed whether she is in Karachi or in Dubai. As she had been sharing photos in her Instagram stories from a recent visit to a museum in Dubai.
Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari who turned 31 on January 25, holds a Masters in English from the University of Edinburgh, is an education enthusiast, and Chairs Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology.
She tied the knot, in a high-profile wedding, with a UAE-based businessman Mahmood Chaudhry.
He is son of Mohammad Younas Chaudhry and Begum Suriya Chaudhary is reported to manage a range of businesses. Their family hails from Lahore and lives in Dubai.
