Beyonce was on Meghan Markle’s wedding playlist, Idris Elba
Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is a huge fan of American singer and songwriter Beyonce and she has been so, long before the real-life royalty met music royalty at the Lion King premiere in London on Sunday.
Actor Idris Elba, On Saturday, at the Hobbs & Shaw premiere revealed that Queen Bey was on Meghan’s wedding playlist and her songs were played in Meghan and Prince Harry reception last year. He was the DJ in the royal ceremony.
The 46-year-old actor opened up about DJ-ing the royal reception during an interview revealing that Meghan for her wedding provided him a playlist.
“There’s always Beyonce on the playlist. You already know that!” the actor joked. “You already know that!”
The playlist also included Whitney Houston’s “I Want to Dance With Somebody,” as well as some “West Coast” rap.
Elba attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex nuptials last year. The actor said he has yet to meet their baby boy, Archie. “He’s a cutie. Congratulations to them. I love them for that,” he said.
