Popular actor Bilal Abbas Khan has condemned India’s late-night missile strikes on Pakistan, describing them as “disgraceful and cowardly.”
These attacks, part of India’s Operation Sindoor on May 6-7, 2025, targeted nine sites across Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, which India labelled as “terrorist infrastructure” in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 people, mostly Indian tourists.
The strikes resulted in at least 26 deaths and 46 injuries on the Pakistani side, including civilians such as women and children, with some mosques destroyed in the affected areas.
Taking to Instagram stories on Wednesday, Ishq Murshid star Bilal Abbas expressed deep sorrow for the Pakistani families who lost loved ones and vowed not to forget the brutality or remain silent against this injustice.
The attacks led to intense cross-border exchanges, with Pakistan claiming to have shot down five Indian jets, though India confirmed fewer losses.
The situation has escalated tensions significantly between the two nuclear-armed neighbours, drawing international calls for restraint.
