Bollywood actress Pooja Bhatt heartbroken after death of Geo News editor Nadia Faisal

Geo News editor, Nadia Faisal, who passed away recently after a brave fight with cancer, seems to have left a huge void, not only amongst her friends and family in Pakistan but across the border as well.

Renowned film director and actress from Bollywood Pooja Bhatt, also shared how Nadia’s demise had left a gaping hole in her heart.

Taking to her Instagram, Pooja penned a heartfelt note for Nadia, lovingly known as Nieni amongst her friends.

“I don’t think I am ever going to process this reality.. that the brightest,nicest individual I had the privilege of calling a dear friend has gone. Your laughter,mirth & irrepressible capacity to exude joy and exert grace under much pressure shall resonate and echo in the void you leave in us all. RIP Nieni.. see you sooner than later amongst the constellations,in a land where love precedes everything and more,” wrote a heartbroken Pooja, referring to Nieni as her ‘dear friend.’

Nadia Faisal, a senior lifestyle reporter and editor of the entertainment desk at Geo News, passed away in Karachi on Tuesday. Nadia had been associated with the entertainment industry for more than a decade and had covered music, film, art, theatre, and fashion in her news reports.
