Bollywood celebs are jubilant as Indian SC legalize homosexuality

A landmark judgement was passed by Indian Supreme Court on 6th September which legalized consensual sexual relations between adults of same gender. The verdict partially struck off Section 377 as a violation of right to equality. It was British era law that criminalized homosexuality. A five-judge Constitution bench of the Indian SC delivered its unanimous verdict in four separate opinions, reports Indian media.
The film fraternity has come out in support of SC judgment, happy with the decision they have shared their thoughts on social media.
