Court Issues Bailable Arrest Warrants for Rabi Pirzada

Lahore Model Town Court magistrate Haris Siddiqui has issued a bailable arrest warrant for singer Rabi Pirzada for keeping exotic pet animals at her home and salon.

The court issued the warrant against Wildlife Department’s complaint against the singer in which they pleaded that Rabi Pirzada has violated wildlife laws by petting dangerous animals.

Summoned to appear in the court on the last hearing, Rabi Pirzada had her lawyer file power of attorney on her behalf and request to adjourn the hearing.

Judicial magistrate Haris Siddiqui granted the request and has adjourned the hearing till October 11. Alongside, arrest warrants for the singer were also issued.

Earlier last month, Wildlife Department took notice of Rabi’s social media account where she often posts pictures of her exotic pets. The department claimed that the singer has admitted to keeping these animals at pet for last five years.
