Dakota Johnson Steps into Direction, Makes Debut with Coldplay’s ‘Cry Cry Cry’ Video

Dakota Johnson, the actor we know from movies like Fifty Shades of Grey and “Peanut Butter Falcon” has stepped into the direction.

The starlet turn director makes her debut with Coldplay’s music video for a doo-wop rendition of “Cry Cry Cry” from their latest album Everyday Life.

For this video, Johnson has collaborated with the director Cory Bailey, which has been shot at London’s last remaining and intact 1950s-style ballrooms, the Rivoli Ballroom.

The vintage feel for the video seems apt for the aesthetic goals of the song, making it Coldplay’s first foray in classic style.

The video makes its debut on Feb 14:

According to the media reports, Johnson and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin have been dating since 2017. If true, the relationship has been successfully kept super private!
