Deepika Padukone tests positive for Covid-19
Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone is the latest B-Town celebrity to test positive for Covid-19.
According to the media reports, Deepika’s family including her father, mother Ujjala Padukone, and younger sister Anisha have also tested positive for the virus.
The actress had been staying with her family in Bangalore as per the media reports.
However, there is no official announcement that has made about her health update yet.
Earlier in the day, Deepika’s father ace badminton player Prakash Padukone was admitted to a Bengaluru hospitalafter experiencing a prolonged fever.
The news was later confirmed by entertainment industry tracker Ramesh Bala. He tweeted: “Actress @deepikapadukone tests positive for #Covid. Wishing her a speedy recovery.”

On the professional front, Deepika has several high-profile films lined up over the next months however the film’s releases have been delayed owing to the pandemic.
She will be seen opposite husband Ranveer Singh in “83”, while she has teamed up with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in “The Intern.” He third film is titled “Fighter” in which she is cast opposite Hrithik Roshan.
