Dia Mirza Announces Separation From Husband Sahil Sanga

Renowned Bollywood actress Dia Mirza took to Instagram today to announce her separation from husband Sahil Sanga. The couple had gotten married in November 2014, after a courtship of six years.

“After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate,” wrote the Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mei actress.

“We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other,” she added.

The actress also thanked her family and friends for supporting the couple, and requested the media to give them due privacy during this time.

“We thank our family and our friends for all their love and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time,” wrote Dia.

While adding, “We will not be commenting any further on this matter.”

The couple got married in a grand wedding ceremony in Delhi, the two have also been business partners and run a production house together.
