An avid critic of Prince Harry and former friend of Princess Diana, Lady Colin Campbell has put the blame of the Duke of Sussex’s exit from the royal family on his late mother. Stating that Harry suffers from ‘second son complex’, Lady Campbell has said that Diana spoilt Harry and he became rebellious.
“He has been so painfully troubled and unhinged by being the second son. Diana would big up his ego when he was younger. I remember thinking he needs to remember he can’t have it all. Barring a terrible disaster, he won’t be the next king,” said the royal biographer while talking to The Sun recently.
“She used to spoil Harry rotten while William was treated normally. Harry got used to having what he wanted, it seemed to me, which he has taken into his adult life. [He’s] always been quite impulsive, as he’s proven with Meghan,” Lady Campbell added.
The royal biographer has been a strong critic of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle. Recently, she called out the Duke of Sussex for not being able to acquire a job and surviving off his father’s support.
