British singer Ed Sheeran is a dad!
29-year-old celebrity singer and wife Cherry Seaborn welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
Sheeran took to social media to make the announcement on September 1.
“Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you… Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter — Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran,” he wrote on Instagram.
“We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Lots of love and I’ll see you when it’s time to come back, Ed x.”, he further added.

As being reported, the couple kept the pregnancy tightly under wraps while they spent lockdown in their Suffolk home in the UK.
Sheeran announced that he and Seaborn were engaged in January 2018. Ed Sheeran married his childhood sweetheart in a top-secret Christmas wedding a year ago.
Seaborn, 28, is a hockey player and won bronze with the England U-21 side at the European Championships in 2012.
