Actor Emmad Irfani’s relation with Allama Iqbal revealed
Emmad Irfani, a well-known Pakistani actor and model, recently revealed a significant familial connection to the esteemed poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
During a recent episode of PTV’s program Virsa: Heritage Revived, a show hosted by Yousuf Salahuddin, the grandson of Allama Iqbal, it was disclosed that Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum star’s great-grandmother was the sister of Allama Iqbal, establishing him as a direct descendant of the poet.
This revelation was further supported by Yousuf Salahuddin, Allama Iqbal’s grandson, who confirmed the relationship, highlighting that Emmad’s lineage ties him closely to one of Pakistan’s most revered figures in literature and philosophy.
“It’s always a great learning experience visiting Uncle Yousuf,” said Irfani.
