Exes Deepika and Ranbir to star in Luv Ranjan’s next?

While Deepika did not accept Kabir Khan’s directorial ’83 with beau Ranveer Singh and we lost our chance to see our favorite off screen couple on screen, it seems, we might just have a chance to watch Padukone with her ex, Ranbir Kapoor after all.

If sources are to be believed, Deepika has been approached for Luv Ranjan’s next film. Although the film revolves strongly around its male leads, the role being offered to Deepika is a powerful one as well. Alongside Deepika, if she nods to the film, the film will star Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn as well.

Ajay Devgn who was earlier confirmed as a part of the film issued a statement when director Luv Ranjan was accused of sexual harassment in lieu of the #MeToo movement spreading in India.

“I’m disturbed by all the happenings with regards to #MeToo. My company and I believe in providing women with utmost respect and safety. If anyone has wronged even a single woman, neither ADF [Ajay Devgn Films] nor I will stand for it,” Devgn had tweeted.

And while Ajay Devgn’s position remains unclear in the film, director Luv Ranjan has denied all allegations made against him, mentioning he’s open to any and all kinds of investigations by legal authorities.
