Farhan Saeed’s Tribute to Living Legends Includes Maulana Tariq Jamil

Recently we shared that Farhan Saeed has taken it upon his shoulders to honor Pakistan’s living legends and initiate the practice of acknowledging people while they are with us. In the latest of his series that includes Abida Parveen, Qavi Khan, and Umer Sharif, the Sajni singer has now paid tribute to renowned scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil.

“During my university days, I would often hear from my friends about the brilliance of Maulana Tariq Jameel. His oratory was said to be very powerful. But it was only when I heard his sermon in person that I discovered the glory in Maulana Sahab’s masterful eloquence, and realized the true meaning of preaching,” wrote the Udaari actor on his Instagram.

He further mentioned his own experience with the scholar and the interactions he has had over the years.

“Personal interactions with Maulana Sahab have made me realise that the essence of Islam is rooted in simplicity. His engaging and interacting way of preaching is a gift to us all,” penned Farhan.

“No amount of gratitude is enough to thank Maulana Tariq Jameel for his ongoing service in the country. May the Almighty always bless him with all His bounties – Aameen,” he concluded.
