The film turned television actress Sana Fakhar has ended up on the radar of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) due to a little too many foreign trips in the last five years or so. According to reports, FBR has launched a probe into the actress’s income and foreign assets, as well as a review of her taxes.
As being reported Sana showed an income of Rs13,05,890 last year and at the same time paid Rs. 79,759 in taxes. Sana also presented a detailed statement of her property income alongside the documents which FBR has found some discrepancies in.
While FBR has started to investigate the actress for alleged tax evasion, it has also written a letter to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director Integrated Border Management System (IBMS) about Sana’s overseas trips during the last five years.
Till the investigation is continued we cannot be sure of where the FBR heads. Earlier the revenue monitoring authority had issued notices to Saba Qamar, Noor, and Frieha Altaf but did not find evidence of tax evasion.
