FIFA has used Arif Lohar’s song ‘Aa’ to wish football star Lionel Messi a happy birthday!

Born on June 24, the Argentine football star has turned 37 this year.

Pakistani music has taken centre stage in the football world after FIFA used popular folk singer Arif Lohar’s song “Aa”, released in 2023, to wish star player Lionel Messi on his birthday. 

FIFA shared the video featuring the Punjabi song Aa with the caption “Messi ka Jadoo (Messi’s magic)” written in Urdu along with, “Happy 37th birthday, Messi.”
