Firdous Jamal Makes Rude Remarks for Mahira Khan, Faysal Qureshi Says Otherwise
Veteran actor Firdous Jamal, who was recently seen in Romeo Weds Heer and Hania, threw some major shade at superstar Mahira Khan.
In an interview with Faysal Qureshi, Firdous Jamal termed Mahira as a ‘mediocre level model’ as her picture flashed on the screen and he was asked to make a comment about her.
“Sorry to say, she has no skills of being a heroine, she is just a mediocre level model,” said the veteran actor. Adding further he said, “She is not an actress and not a heroine.”

He went on make ageist remarks and stated, “Mahira is overaged and actresses of her age usually play the role of mothers and not the main heroine.”
In the same breath Firdous Jamal compared Mahira with Mehwish Hayat and called the latter a better choice.

“Mehwish Hayat is far better than Mahira khan,” the Waris actor had to say.
Soon after Faysal Qureshi, who was hosting the show where Firdous sahb passed the rude remarks, came out in support of Mahira. Taking it to Twitter, Faysal claimed that why were his 1000 praises for Mahira being unnoticed.

Faysal also stated that Firdous sahb is entitled to his opinion but one cannot drag his show down because he does not endorse his guests’ opinions.
Needless to say Mahira’s fans are quite fumed over the veteran actor’s comments, and social media is jolted after Firdous Jamal’s remarks for the Humsafar actress.
