‘Game of Thrones’ star Indira Varma tests positive for Coronavirus

In the wake of a recent pandemic, another Game of Thrones actor Indira Varma has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Varma, who played the role of Ellaria Sand in the iconic HBO series, has tested positive two days after her GoT costar Kristofer Hivju also said that he tested positive for the COVID-19 infection.
“So sad our and so many other shows around the world have gone dark affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope to be back soon and urge you all (and the govt) to support us when we do. Phoenix/ Seagull rising from the ashes,” Varma wrote while sharing photos from the rehearsals

She was also starring in the modern take of Anton Chekhov’s play The Seagull in London’s West End, alongside her Game of Thrones alum Emilia Clarke.
The play has been put on hold due to the pandemic. As her test came positive as she engaged in a multi-star production.
