Hamza Ali Abbasi Asks the World to Take Notice of Communal Violence in Delhi

Hamza Ali Abbasi who is quite known for his political and social opinions on social media once again took to Twitter to bring the international community’s attention to the ongoing communal riots in India.
“Several Muslims have been murdered on the streets, mosque vandalised, Muslim homes/businesses burned,” tweeted the Alif actor.
“The world MUST TAKE NOTICE or else this entire fragile region can descend into unprecedented violence,” he added.

As many as 21 people have been killed and over 150 injured in New Delhi, as the sit-in against Citizenship Amendment Act took a violent turn on Monday. In a clash between two groups – for and against the act – Muslims became the target of violence by Hindu extremists.
After vandalizing a mosque in Delhi and torching houses, markets in Muslim dominated areas. The Hindutva faction continued to burn down the city and threaten Muslims including journalists covering the violence.
Modi government maintained a criminal silence as the capital turned into a battlefield and US President Donald Trump visited the country on a state visit.
