Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has lauded Pakistani cricketer turned activist Shahid Afridi’s efforts for providing rations to families under lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Great work for humanity,” Harbhajan wrote in a tweet while sharing photos of Afridi distributing rations among the people.
“May God bless us all. More power to you. Praying for the world’s well-being”, he added.
Responding to Harbhajan’s wishes, Shahid Afridi also shared a few kind words for former Indian off-spinner.
“Humanity is bigger than anything! Thank you Bhajji for your kind words. The world needs to unite, it is our collective responsibility to help the poor and needy in every way possible in the global fight against”, said Afridi in a tweet.
