Here is how Fakhr-e-Alam decided what to wear at PSL 5 opening ceremony
Fakhr-e-Alam will not be wearing the new wardrobe given to him for PSL 5 opening gala rather he would don the same green and white clothes at the biggest cricket event of the country that he had worn at the closing ceremony of PSL last year.
The singer and National Award-winning actor has chosen his dress for PSL 5 opening ceremony after much thought about it. The actor has had various huge discussions and deliberations about what he should don at the launch of the biggest cricket event in Pakistan. Finally he has settled upon wearing an old green and white attire because the colours symbolise Pakistan’s flag.
‘There was huge discussion & deliberations as to what I should wear for the #HBLPSLV #HBLPSL opening ceremony. I was given an extensive wardrobe but I decided to wear the same green & white combo/clothes that I wore at the closing ceremony last year. The colors of our great flag,’ the patriotic singer tweeted sharing his choice of dress for PSL with fans.

PSL 5 is all set to kick start today with a glitzy and glamorous opening ceremony at National Stadium Karachi which will be held before the opening match between defending champions Quetta Gladiators and two-time champion Islamabad United.
As many as 350 artists from different music genres – Sufi, pop, rock, bhangra, and folk – will come together to perform at what will be the biggest opening ceremony in the history of PSL. Pakistan’s World-renowned artists including Abrar-ul-Haq, Aima Baig, Abu Mohammad, Fareed Ayaz, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sajjad Ali, Sanam Marvi and rock band Soch will also reportedly perform at the PSL 2020 launch.
