How can you find faults in a man asking a woman for nikkah, Hamza Ali Abbasi on Iqra-Yasir’s LSA engagement
Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain finally came open with their relationship on Sunday, the eve of Lux Style Awards 2019. Yasir Hussain went down on one knee to propose Iqra and slip down a ring on her finger.
While the attendees of the awards ceremony cheered on, the public has been critical of the duo’s public display of affection, calling out how it was haram for Yasir to have kissed Iqra on the cheek, after she said yes to the proposal. People have been mercilessly trolling Yasir and Iqra for the proposal, however, Hamza Ali Abbasi, one actor, who is known for being quite vocal about issues he supports or disagrees with, found it best to side with the two and question the public.
Taking to his Twitter, Hamza Ali Abbasi asked a very straight forward question to the masses.
“In an era when ppl prefer haram over halal, how can U find faults in a man asking a woman for Nikkah? Bcz he hugged her or kissed her on the cheek?” questioned Hamza.
He further stated, it was better to celebrate the good than criticize.
#IqraAziz In an era when ppl prefer haraam over halal, how can U find faults in a man asking a woman for nikkah? Bcz he hugged her or kissed her on the cheek? STOP IT! Instead celebrate the good… Heartiest congrats to Yasir & Iqra. May Allah bless u both in ur new journey. pic.twitter.com/5jsxGUSYZy

Hamza urged people to look away from personal faults and celebrate the good they did because that’s what Allah loves. He supported his stance saying he was always the one bashing item songs but never named a particular actor/actress for doing so.
The closer i am getting to Islam, the more i am finding out tht Allah does not like you to pick out names & individuals & bash them on thr persnl faults. Look away from thr persnl faults & celebrate the good tht they do. Thts what Allah loves. Aagay aapki marzi ✌️😘 https://t.co/1yNBpdppDK

Its sad how we Muslims so eagerly pick out individuals/bash them on thr persnl faults. Buraai ko buraai kaho, logon ko zaleel na karo. I criticise item numbers without ever picking out actresses and bashing them individually for doing item numbers. Allah ka khof karo musalmaano! pic.twitter.com/mm4FF683zf
