‘I am the heroine of Pakistan and in real life too’, that what Meera Jee said while conducting a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Tuesday.

According to the details, during the lockdown, Meera had converted her house into a shelter home and announced to shelter the homeless people of the showbiz industry there. And is alleged of a fraud collecting money in the name of the poor.

Lollywood star Meera Jee held an press conference to disclose details of her assets and to adress the allegations made against her for being involved in a fraud case.

Pakistani actress clarified that the purpose of the conference was to save her reputation and media trial.

Baaji star said that she is a heroine in real life, not just in films. “Some people are accusing a real-life heroine like me,” the actress remarked.

“If the allegations against me are proved true, I will hang myself,” she added.

Meera claimed that she had done a few people some favours “for the sake of humanity”. “I am a pure, virtuous, and truthful woman,” she added.

She said she has no doubts revealing her assets, and that for the record, she has a villa in Dubai.

However, on a question about the price of the villas bought in Dubai, Meera diverted the attention and couldn’t answer.

“I was also character-assassinated in India”. She also showed the details of all of her accounts to prove her innocence.

The presser was conducted to encounter the alligations leveled by choreographer Lada a few days ago.

In a video message Lada alleged that Meera had not opened a shelter home of any sort. He termed a lie to gain popularity and collect funds from rich people.

She said, “I am being humiliated on social media. I have not received or spent money from any bank including Western Union. If it gets proven that I have done any corruption then I should be hanged.”

Meera was pushed to tears during a press conference she fumbled with the script in her hand and could not smoothly take down the questions.

“It doesn’t matter. Go ahead and laugh. It will make the headlines,” she said, at one such point, in an attempt to brush aside her own vexation.

“I present my records to all agencies. You may (try and) hold me accountable.”

Film star Meera said that her cousin’s property has been seized and that she should be given justice.

She appealed to the Army Chief to provide justice to her dear uncle Babar Naqvi and relinquish his property.

Meera said that she will organize a tribute program for her uncle Babar.

As per reports,, the actress refused to provide a copy of her bank statement at the end of the media briefing and left the press conference crying.

She reportedly, she left behind her father and domestic help at the press club and drove off with her driver.

It was a few days ago when choreographer Lada in a video message, leveled fraud allegations against Meera, claiming that moved to her home with his family and  Meera maintained in front of the media that she had sheltered the homeless in the Corona virus situation through the media

Lada added  that she kept me in her house for 3 months and during that time she kept my wife cleaning the house and also employed the children.

“Following media reports, people from all over the world sent millions of rupees in the name of aid. The actress used to write her account number in our name when she called for help abroad. I want to tell everyone that my house was not a shelter home but a center of fraud, so strict action should be taken against her”, said Lada.
