Idris Elba to star in Netflix’s ‘The Harder They Fall’
Idris Elba will be starring in Netflix upcoming flick “The Harder They Fall”, along with Jonathan Majors. The film is being produced by Jay-Z.
With this flick, British musician Jeymes Samuel is all set to make his feature directorial debut, who is better known by his stage name the Bullitts.
Samuel is a singer-songwriter, producer and filmmaker has previously worked with Jay-Z on “The Great Gatsby” soundtrack.

The film is going to follow the story of an outlaw Nat Love (Majors), who discovers that the man (Elba) who killed his parents two decades ago is being released from prison and decides to reunite with his gang to track his enemy down and seek his revenge.
According to the sources the film is expected to take a similar approach to incorporate music as “The Great Gatsby.”
Up on the work front Elba is currently shooting “The Suicide Squad” with Margot Robbie at Warner Bros. and also has the George Miller film “Three Thousand Years and Longing” opposite Tilda Swinton, in works.
Elba’s recent venture “Fast & Furious” spinoff “Hobbs & Shaw”, in which he starred along Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, grossed h grossed more than $750 million internationally.
