Idris Elba’s wife Sabrina Dhowre also tests positive for coronavirus, contracted the virus from husband
Days after European actor Idris Elba revealed he had tested positive for coronavirus, his wife Sabrina Dhowre now says she too has tested positive.
Model/actress shared her diagnosis with Oprah Winfrey Saturday during a Facetime on Winfrey’s “Oprah Talks COVID-19,” Apple TV+ series.
When Elba went into quarantine Dhowre-Elba made the decision to be close to her husband and she does not regret it even after having contracted the virus from her husband.

Dhowre Elba said she felt fine, stating, “I don’t feel anything that would come to what people would now expect to be a symptom of coronavirus, which is really strange.”
“It might change in the coming weeks, and we’ll keep everyone updated,” she said. “But it is worrisome that we’re sitting here, two people, and … we’re asymptomatic.”

Previously Elba had called staying together a ‘calculated risk’ and in the interview said: “As much as we talked about her not coming to where I am, she did and wanted to and I love her even more for it and I would do the same for her.
“As much as I wanted her to keep safe, we presumed if I had it, the likelihood she would have it too. When something like this is going on in the world, love is all you can get, who am I to turn down my wife’s support?”
Well, such a show of love in times of corona is not commendable. Self-isolation is more preferable for the Elba’s keeping expert advice in view.
