Iqra and Yasir, the “Bride and the Groom” tie the knot!

The much- anticipated wedding of the year has finally taken place! Celebrity stars Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain have tied the knot in a glittering wedding ceremony held in Karachi on Saturday.

The first look of the gorgeous bride, Iqra was revealed as her stunning pictures and video in bridal attire started circulate on social media.

Iqra ensemble in a red lehenga by Pakistani designer Nomi Ansari for her big day and also posed for a perfect picture.

To complement her look, the Suno Chanda starlet opted for muted gold heavy jewelry. Iqra’s makeup was complimented by makeover artist Waqar Hussian.

The celebrity groom, Yasir donned a dull gold and white sherwani and looked elegant.

Their first look together as bride and groom were also captured in a video in which they can be seen arriving at the venue to sign the Nikkah papers.

The wedding ceremony was attended by prominent showbiz celebrities such as Sajal Ali, Ahad Raza Mir, Asim Azhar, Hania Aamir, Saheefa Jabbar and Wajahat Rauf.

Ealier a day ago, the duo took the internet by storm dancing  at their Mehndi ceremony.

The dance video of Iqra and Yasir from their mehndi went viral on internet.

Yasir donned an ivory shalwar kameez suit and paired it with a bottle green velvet shawl. While, Iqra ensemble traditional yellow peshwas by designer Faiza Saqlain. The Suno Chanda star completed her look with Nauratan jewellery.

Among the showbiz stars Zara Noor Abbas, Kubra Khan, Asim Azhar, Hania Amir, Asad Siddiqui and other friends of the couple were also seen showing off some crazy dance moves along with the bride and groom.

The dance moves followed by musical performances by singer Asim Azhar. Yasir ‘s sister Schumaila Hussain, who is also a singer by profession, also sang at the event.

 

The couple has also started the trend #IqYasirDaViyah, which has made simpler for their fans to grab everything related to the stars’ wedding ceremony.

Their wedding festivities began with a vibrant and colourful mayon ceremony on Monday.
