Irrfan Khan shares a heartfelt note, announces Bollywood comeback
Irrfan Khan is back in Bollywood after a yearlong battle with neuroendocrine tumour and seeking treatment in London. Khan has confirmed his recovery and expressed his gratitude to fans for all the support and love showered on him during his months of illness.
The 52–year-old actor returned to India on March recently spotted at the Mumbai airport.
Irrfan Khan announced his return in a heartfelt note and fans is over the moon after hearing the comeback of Bollywood hero. Pouring his heart out, he shared that the immense love and support of fans soothed him in his process of healing.
“Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support; it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart”, he wrote on Twitter.
A year ago, the Hindi Medium actor had shared the news of his illness via social media.
Reports revealed that Khan is in town to shoot for his next film ‘Hindi Medium 2’ opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan.
