Jannat Mirza Pakistan’s top TikTok star calls it quits

Jannat Mirza, Pakistan’s top TikTok star who has a massive following had earlier claimed that she has been banned by the App. And now says that she will be quitting the platform soon.

In August, Jannat Mirza became Pakistan’s most-followed celeb on video-sharing app TikTok with eight million followers.

The famous TikTok star has impressed millions with her lip-synching video with more than 157.2 million likes on her official TikTok account.

The 20-year-old hailing from Faisalabad made her mainstream entertainment debut with the music video of Sarmad Qadeer’s track, ‘Shayar’. 

Video featuring Jannat Mirza has received over 10 million views on YouTube and still counting. 

It was earlier in July when Jannat Mirza took to Instagram revealing that her TikTok account was ghost-banned by the app. She shared that she witnesses a major drop in the number of followers on her TikTok account.

Jannat further added that she had lost 20,000 followers in just three days. And says that she does not know the reason behind this, that is why she posted this query on her Instagram story.

 

Jannat further added that she wont be posting anything for the nest 10 days due to the Shadow Ban!

 

She also faced an episode of hacking and she revealed about the harassment that she has been exposed to in the past few days.

“When my song was supposed to be released, my account was hacked. After the start, they blocked my account. Now that my film is coming out, people have started posting retouched photos. Why are people so jealous of someone’s success”, she said in an Instagram post.

Jannat Mirza will soon be making her appearance as a lead role in a Pakistani film being directed by Syed Noor.
