Popular K-drama star Ji Chang-wook tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection along with a member of the show’s production team.
South Korean actor who has a massive international fan following, has been busy with the filming of an upcoming Netflix original series The Sound Of Magic.
On the 26th, his agency, Glorious Entertainment, in a statement said, “Ji Chang-wook has tested positive for COVID-19. He is under quarantine and undergoing treatment according to the guidelines of the quarantine authoríties.”
The other team members reportedly wait for the results of their own Covid-19 tests. While the shooting has been suspended until the staff’s safety can be guaranteed.
As being reported Ji’s co-stars Hwang In-yeop and Choi Sung-eun both have tested negative.
