Jibran Nasir has safely returned home, Karachi police claimed on Friday evening.
According to the police, a lawyer turned activist Jibran Nasir after almost 22 hours missing has returned home.
Jibran Nasir’s wife Mansha Pasha earlier in the day filed an FIR on his kidnapping at the Clifton Police Station under two sections of the Pakistan Penal Code — 365 (kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine a person) and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).
According to Pasha, Jibran Nasir was abducted last night at gunpoint from Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area.
Mansha Pasha also a popular actress, revealed the details of the incident in a video message which went viral on social media.
Pasha said they were coming home after dinner when a white Vigo, with registration number BF4356, intercepted their car as they entered their lane and forced them to stop.
“There were some 15 people, armed with pistols. They forcefully took away my husband,” she added.
