Jimmy Fallon Apologizes for Using a Black Face 20 Years Ago
Comedian and host of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon has been brave to come up and apologize for a mistake he committed 20 years ago. Taking it to Twitter Fallon apologized for impersonating Chris Rock on Saturday Night Live as he used a black face.
“In 2000, while on SNL, I made a terrible decision to do an impersonation of Chris Rock while in blackface. There is no excuse for this,” tweeted the host as a video of him in blackface resurfaced on the internet.

“I am very sorry for making this unquestionably offensive decision and thank all of you for holding me accountable,” added Fallon.

Fallon recently faced a backlash from fans and critics who questioned his decision of impersonating a black person and thinking of it as comedy.
