Jon Snow and Ygritte are getting married in real life.
Actor Kit Harington will be getting married to his Game of Thrones co-star Rose Leslie. The wedding date has been fixed and its going to be a romantic wedding as it is reported to take place in a castle. This wedding will take place in Scotland.
Media reports that 23rd June as the wedding date has been posted at the Huntly registration office in Aberdeenshire. Councillor Seb Leslie, actress’s father, owns a castle in his West Garioch constituency. It is most probably that the wedding will be taking place at the family’s castle, and if it is so, then it’s going to be more than a little romantic. After having celebrated a royal wedding few weeks ago, this news will delight Game of Thrones fans for sure.
The duo met on the fantasy show in 2012, where they played on screen lovers, we all know as Jon Snow and Ygritte. Their engagement was announced in September last year and fans were eagerly waiting to know when they will be tying the knot, so it’s only few weeks away now.
Game of Thrones will be returning to TV screens for its last season in 2019 and this last season will have only six episodes.
