Kader Khan laid to rest in Canada
Veteran Bollywood actor Kader Khan who breathed his last on Monday, December 31, 2018, was laid to rest in Canada. He died after a prolonged illness at the age of 81.
Kader is survived by his wife Hajra, son Sarfaraz, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
The actor was known for his comic timing and impeccable acting skills have left his millions of fans mourning all around the world.
Kader Khan was born in Kabul, he made his acting debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna’s “Daag” and has featured in over 300 films. He wrote dialogues for over 250 movies.
At the funeral prayers of the late actor, family, friends and fans gathered to pay their last respects.
The veteran actor’s son, Sarfaraz Khan upon his death spoke about how his father was ignored by the Indian film industry. He said, “It is the way the Indian film industry has become now. There are too many fragmented camps and loyalties. The out-of-sight, out-of-mind mentality can’t be helped. My father always told us, his sons, not to expect anything from anybody and we grew up with the belief that one must do what is required in life and expect nothing in return.”
