Kami Sid to star as transwoman lead in upcoming big budget film
Trans model and activist Kami Sid, who first won praise for her short film Rani, is now all set to star in a big budgeted film as a transwoman in lead. The activist shared the news on her Twitter, “I m ecstatic to announce that I have just signed a mega budget movie in which I will be playing the lead role as a transwoman … More details to come soon,” wrote Kami.

Earlier Kami had stated that she was working on a trans love story but her primary goal was to highlight the issue of the transgender community.
“I am from that community and that will always be my goal,” Kami had shared.
Kami Sid was also recently accused of rape and sexual harassment by three victim, all three of whom have received legal notices for defamation by Kami.
