Kareena Kapoor Khan has publicly addressed the media following the shocking stabbing incident involving her husband, Saif Ali Khan.

The attack occurred at their Mumbai residence during a burglary attempt, prompting Kareena to urge for privacy and respect during this difficult time.

In her heartfelt statement shared on Instagram, she described the day as “incredibly challenging” for the family, highlighting that they are still processing the traumatic events.

Kareena requested that the media and paparazzi refrain from “relentless speculation and coverage,” emphasizing that such scrutiny is overwhelming and poses a significant risk to their safety.

She expressed gratitude for the support received but reiterated the need for space to heal, stating, “I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family”.

In a statement, Dr Dange said, “Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital at 2 am with an alleged history of assault by some unknown person. He sustained a major injury to the thoracic spinal cord due to a lodged knife in the spine. A surgery was performed to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid. Two other deep wounds on his left hand and one other on his neck were repaired by the plastic surgery team. He is completely stable now. He is recovering well and out of danger.”
